Panda Knob

T21 Product Code: CR-0001

The Panda Knob moulds a black-and-white panda face into glazed ceramic, set on a brushed zinc-alloy post, keeping the same 62mm x 36mm size shared across the full animal series so it fixes and sits identically to the lion, koala, and fox knobs beside it. The rounded ears and eye patches are built into the mould itself, so the two-tone glaze sits in defined bands rather than bleeding across the shape.

The two-tone black-and-white glaze is what sets this knob apart visually from its set-mates — most of the other animal faces work in a single warmer tone, while the panda's contrast reads clearly even at a distance, which makes it a good anchor piece if you're mixing animals across a wide chest of drawers.

Ceramic carries the moulded face and glaze; the zinc-alloy post behind it, brushed and matt-finished, takes the screw fixing and the pull force from daily use, so the visible ceramic face itself isn't under mechanical load.

Like the rest of the series, it's built for children's furniture — nursery chests, playroom drawers, kids' bedroom storage — where a recognisable animal face works better than a neutral knob shape. Its black-and-white palette also makes it a natural focal knob if the rest of a room's storage is in plain white or wood-tone drawers, since the contrast draws the eye without needing extra colour anywhere else in the piece.

• Best for: children's bedroom and nursery drawers, especially where a black-and-white accent knob is wanted
• Pairs well with: the lion, koala, and fox knobs from the same series
• Fixing: single-point, standard drawer-front knob mounting

Specification: Material — ceramic face on a zinc-alloy mounting post; Finish — brushed & matt; Size — 62mm x 36mm x 25mm depth.

Does the panda knob need different fixing hardware than the other animal knobs?

No — all four knobs in the CR-0001 series use the identical single-screw, zinc-alloy post fixing, so they install the same way regardless of which face you choose.

Is the black-and-white glaze durable on a knob children handle often?

Yes, the colour is glazed into the ceramic rather than surface-painted, so regular gripping and turning by hand doesn't wear the finish thin the way painted hardware can over time.

Can I order just the panda knob without the rest of the set?

Yes, each animal — lion, koala, fox, panda — is listed and sold as its own individual knob, so you can order one, a few, or the full set depending on how many drawers you're fitting.
