Stainless steel G-profile handles, J-pull recessed kitchen handles, flat bar surface-mount pulls, and integrated aluminium channel systems for modular kitchen base units, overhead cabinets, and full-height pantry doors — T21's kitchen profile handle collection covers 300mm to 1200mm lengths in brushed SS, matte black, and champagne gold. G-profile handles eliminate external projections — grease and steam have no surface to accumulate on the cabinet front. Matte black and brushed SS resist fingerprints significantly better than polished chrome in active Indian kitchens. Wholesale pricing with GST invoice available. Shipped from Bengaluru.
The distinction between G-profile handles and surface-mounted bar pulls determines the entire visual language of a modular kitchen. G-profile handles are machined into the top or bottom edge of the cabinet door — the drawer face stays completely clean, the handle is invisible when the door is closed, and there is no projection to accumulate cooking oils or steam residue. This is the standard specification across all flat-front modular kitchen designs in India today. Surface-mounted bar pulls project outward from the drawer face and suit frame-and-panel, shaker, or transitional kitchen styles where hardware is meant to be seen as a design element rather than disappear into the surface.
What is the difference between a G-profile handle and a J-pull for modular kitchens? G-profile and J-pull describe the same handle type — a channel recessed into the door edge that you grip to open the cabinet. The cross-section shape varies slightly between manufacturers. The mounting method, visual outcome, and kitchen application are identical. Both terms are used interchangeably across Indian kitchen hardware suppliers and modular kitchen manufacturers.
What length profile handle should I specify for a 600mm modular kitchen cabinet door? For a 600mm base or overhead cabinet door, specify a 400mm to 500mm handle — correct visual proportion with comfortable single-handed grip. For full-height pantry units above 900mm, specify 900mm to 1200mm. A short handle on a tall pantry door appears undersized and breaks the architectural coherence of the kitchen.
Can G-profile kitchen handles be retrofitted onto existing modular cabinet doors? No. G-profile handles require a routing channel machined into the door edge during cabinet manufacturing. This cannot be added to finished doors without specialist woodworking that risks damaging the cabinet face and laminate finish. For retrofit projects, surface-mounted bar pulls with 128mm or 160mm centre-to-centre are the correct alternative.
