How far below the ceiling should I hang a GLO belt in a suspended installation?

Drop height depends on the ceiling height and the visual intent. For standard 9 to 10-foot residential ceilings, a 300 to 500mm drop creates a visible line of light without dropping into the occupants' field of direct view. For double-height or commercial spaces with 4m or higher ceilings, drops of 800mm to 1.5m allow the belt to read at a more human scale. The Suspension Kit's wire is adjustable to the required drop length.
