The GLO Linear Diffused Light (GL-A06) is the wide-beam counterpart to the Linear Spot in the GLO belt-link range. Available in 12W (323mm), 24W (642mm), and 36W (961mm) with a 110° wide beam in 3000K warm white. CRI greater than 90. Sand Black and Sand White. Dimmable 0-10V. 2-year warranty.

Where the GL-A04 Linear Spot (24° beam) focuses light on a specific surface in a narrow ribbon, the GL-A06 Linear Diffused (110° beam) spreads it softly across a wide area — the linear ambient layer of a GLO installation. The 36W version produces 1,756 lumens from a 961mm fixture, delivering soft, even illumination across a large zone from a single belt-mounted fixture. Linear diffused fixtures are particularly effective mounted along the perimeter of a room on the belt, creating a continuous soft wash of light rather than multiple pools from round fixtures — an effect that designers associate with premium hospitality lighting.

The GLO system operates on 48V DC — a touch-safe low voltage that makes the belt suitable for exposed ceiling and creative installations that mains-voltage track cannot safely permit. Power runs through the conductive belt; any GLO fixture clips on at any point along it and locks in place in seconds, no tools and no rewiring required. Relocate a fixture when the room changes — different sofa position, new artwork, reconfigured shelving — in the same amount of time it would take to move the furniture. All GLO fixtures dim continuously via a 0-10V dimming signal connected to the power supply; one dimmer controls all fixtures on that circuit.

  • 12W (323mm): Compact linear ambient, alcoves, small zones
  • 24W (642mm): Medium ambient runs, over sofas or consoles
  • 36W (961mm): Long perimeter ambient, large rooms, hospitality spaces

12W: 323mm × 45mm, 586 lumens. 24W: 642mm × 45mm, 1,171 lumens. 36W: 961mm × 45mm, 1,756 lumens. All: 3000K warm white, CRI >90, 110° beam angle, 48V DC input, dimmable 0-10V, 2-year warranty. Dispatched from Bengaluru within 24 hours. All India delivery. WhatsApp +91 94484 64040.

What is the difference between the GL-A04 Linear Spot and the GL-A06 Linear Diffused?

Both are linear bar fixtures in the same three sizes (323mm / 642mm / 961mm) but with fundamentally different beam characteristics. The GL-A04 Spot uses a 24° narrow beam for directed accent across specific surfaces. The GL-A06 Diffused spreads at 110° for wide ambient fill. Note that the Spot outputs significantly more lumens per watt — the 36W Spot produces 2,507 lumens vs the 36W Diffused at 1,756 lumens — because narrow beam fixtures concentrate their output more efficiently.

When is a linear diffused light better than multiple round diffused fixtures?

Linear diffused lights on a belt create a continuous ribbon of soft light along a run — along the length of a room, over a dining table perimeter, or parallel to a shelving wall — whereas multiple round diffused fixtures create overlapping circular pools. The linear form gives more control over where the soft light falls and often requires fewer fixtures. For premium hospitality and residential projects where the lighting is as architectural as the space itself, linear fixtures usually produce more refined results than clusters of round ones.

How does dimming work with GLO linear fixtures?

All GLO linear fixtures accept a 0-10V dimming signal through the belt's power supply. Dimming is controlled at the power supply level — one dimmer on the power supply dims all fixtures on that circuit simultaneously and smoothly from 0% to 100%. For zone-by-zone dimming of different fixture groups, separate power supplies on separate dimmer circuits are used. Compatible with standard 0-10V architectural dimmers from most control manufacturers.
