The Frosted Glass Block is a hollow unit at 190x190x90mm, sold six pieces per box, with a fully opaque, milky white surface treatment applied across both faces. Unlike the geometric or organic textures elsewhere in the Clear Glass Blocks range, Frosted doesn't introduce a visible pattern — the entire face reads as an even, uniform diffusion, functioning as the range's most complete privacy option while retaining the sealed air chamber construction that gives every hollow glass block its genuine thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

The frosted treatment scatters light evenly in every direction rather than transmitting a defined image through the glass, which is the specific mechanism that makes it the standard specification for bathroom walls and other genuinely private applications — full light admission with zero visual information passing through. This differs meaningfully from the other patterns in the range, which generally soften or interrupt a view rather than eliminating it entirely.

Because Frosted carries no decorative pattern, it also functions as a visually neutral option for installations combining multiple glass block patterns within one wall — a Frosted section can anchor a composition of more elaborate patterns like Fine Gem or Ocean Wave without competing for visual attention, giving a designer a genuine visual resting point within an otherwise varied pattern layout overall.

Does Frosted Glass Block provide more privacy than the patterned options like Lineo or Candy?

Yes — Frosted eliminates visual information passing through the glass entirely via its even, opaque surface treatment, while patterned options such as Lineo or Candy only soften and interrupt a view without fully eliminating a sense of shapes or movement behind the glass. Frosted remains the single most private option across the entire range.

Can Frosted be combined with more decorative patterns like Fine Gem or Ocean Wave in the same wall?

Yes, and it works particularly well this way — Frosted's neutral, undecorated surface can anchor a composition of more elaborate patterns, giving a varied multi-pattern wall a visual resting point rather than competing for attention alongside more intricate textures. For bathroom or similarly private applications specifically, confirming local building code requirements around privacy glazing with a qualified installer remains good practice alongside selecting Frosted, since regulatory requirements can genuinely vary quite a bit by jurisdiction, building type, and the specific application in question.
