The FILO SMD Back Light is the ambient fixture in the FILO 5mm Coincide range, available in two sizes: F8030 (5W, L357×W5×H14.5mm) and F8060 (10W, L657×W5×H14.5mm). Both produce a 110° wide beam at 40 lumens per watt — designed for soft ambient fill along a track run, not accent. Available in 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. CRI greater than 90. Black. 24V DC.

The "Coincide" designation means the fixture profile exactly matches the 5mm track width — the back light sits within the track's profile, creating a seamless linear element when viewed from below. The 110° beam spreads light in a wide arc from the track surface, ideal for cove lighting, perimeter ambient fill, under-shelf illumination, and any application where a continuous diffused line of light along the track is the intended effect rather than defined spots. At L357mm (F8030) and L657mm (F8060), the two sizes allow different coverage lengths on the same track run.

The FILO system runs on 24V DC at 5mm track width — one of the narrowest magnetic lighting tracks in the market. Fixtures attach magnetically and reposition without tools. The 5mm profile disappears into the smallest ceiling reveal or sits flush in a deep recessed trimless channel, leaving only the light visible. All FILO fixtures ship in black. Input 24V DC. CRI greater than 90 across the entire range. Contact T21 via WhatsApp +91 94484 64040 for project layouts, trade pricing, and installation support. Dispatched from Bengaluru within 24 hours. All India delivery.

  • F8030 (5W, 357mm): Short ambient sections, accent zones, alcoves, compact cove runs
  • F8060 (10W, 657mm): Longer ambient runs, room perimeter, under-shelf over full cabinet width

What does "Coincide" mean for these FILO fixtures?

Coincide means the fixture's cross-section exactly matches the 5mm track width — the light source and its housing sit within the track profile rather than projecting above or below it. When viewed from the side or below, the Coincide fixtures appear as part of the track itself. This creates the visual effect of the track "glowing" along its length rather than having discrete fixture bodies attached to it — the cleanest possible linear lighting aesthetic from a 5mm rail.

When should I use the Back Light instead of the Linear Spot on a FILO track?

Use the Back Light (F8030/F8060) for wide, soft ambient fill along the track run — cove lighting, perimeter ambient, general zone illumination. Use the Linear Spot (F8028/F8056) for focused 30° accent on specific surfaces or objects. The Back Light's 110° beam spreads light broadly from the track; the Linear Spot's 30° beam concentrates it on a narrow target. Most FILO installations use both: Back Lights for the ambient layer, Linear Spots for the accent layer.
