Wash Basin Pedestal

Full pedestal wash basins and pedestal basin sets in vitreous china for Indian bathrooms — T21's wash basin pedestal collection covers floor-standing basin and pedestal combinations where a full-length column supports the basin from counter height to the floor, completely concealing all supply and waste plumbing within the pedestal body. Full pedestal basins are the standard specification for open-plan bathrooms, standalone wash stations, and any bathroom where the vanity area is not enclosed in a cabinet and exposed plumbing is undesirable. Available in standard and designer proportions in gloss white vitreous china. GST invoice available. Delivered all over India, dispatched from Bengaluru within 24 hours on working days.

Pedestal basins are one of the most practical wash basin formats for Indian bathrooms undergoing renovation — they require no vanity cabinet, no countertop fabrication, and no structural wall modification beyond the two back-fixing points. The basin and pedestal arrive as matched components, and plumbing connection is straightforward for any qualified plumber.

What plumbing connections does a full pedestal wash basin require? A full pedestal basin requires a hot and cold supply connection at the wall behind the basin, and a waste outlet connection through the floor or wall depending on the bathroom's drainage configuration. All connections are made behind or within the pedestal column and are invisible from the front once installed. The specific pipe inlet heights must be confirmed against the basin's rough-in dimensions before the plumber completes first-fix.

Are T21 pedestal basin sets sold with the basin and pedestal as a matched pair? Pedestal basin sets in T21's range are specified as matched pairs — the basin bowl and pedestal column are designed as one system. Mixing basins and pedestals from different product lines risks dimensional mismatch at the junction where the basin rests on the pedestal. Always purchase the basin and pedestal as the specified paired set.
